Background of the Study
Heart failure is a significant public health concern, particularly among women in Sokoto State, Nigeria. Nurses play a pivotal role in managing heart failure, including patient assessment, education, and ongoing care. However, various challenges may impede effective nursing management of heart failure in this population.
Statement of the Problem
Despite the critical role of nurses in heart failure management, they encounter numerous obstacles that can compromise patient outcomes. Identifying and addressing these challenges are essential steps toward improving care for women with heart failure in Sokoto State.
Objectives of the Study
1. To identify the primary challenges nurses face in managing heart failure among women in Sokoto State.
2. To explore the impact of these challenges on patient care and outcomes.
3. To propose strategies to overcome identified challenges and enhance nursing care for heart failure patients.

Scope and Limitations of the Study
This study will focus on nurses working in healthcare facilities in Sokoto State who are involved in the management of heart failure among women. Data will be collected through structured interviews and questionnaires. Limitations may include potential biases in self-reported data and the generalizability of findings to other regions.
